Sessions, funding and the everyday details to help you plan your child’s time with us.
Our nursery sessions
Open Monday to Friday, 8am–6pm, for 50 weeks of the year.

Fees are payable for 50 weeks, including bank holidays. We close between Christmas and New Year. Our minimum attendance is two full days or four half-day sessions.
Understanding funded childcare
Which ages can receive funding?
We offer funded places for children aged nine months to five years. Eligible working families may access up to 30 hours a week from the term after a child turns nine months. All families can access 15 hours from the term after their child turns three; eligible working families may access 30 hours. Please check current eligibility and speak to the office about availability.
How is funding spread across the year?
Funding is based on 38 weeks. Our published offer includes term-time funding or stretching the annual entitlement over the 50 weeks we open.
- 15 hours: 570 hours a year, equivalent to 11.4 hours per week over 50 weeks.
- 30 hours: 1,140 hours a year, equivalent to 22.8 hours per week over 50 weeks.
Funded hours are deducted from your booking pattern, up to 10 hours a day. Please confirm the arrangement that applies to your place with the office.
When are funded sessions available?
- Full day: 8am–6pm (10 hours)
- Morning: 8am–1pm (5 hours)
- Afternoon: 1pm–6pm (5 hours)
- School day: 9am–3pm (6 hours), subject to availability

What are consumable charges?
Funded hours cover childcare. Our published consumable charges contribute towards food, non-food items and enrichment activities. If you wish to opt out, please read the Nursery Consumables Policy and speak to the Nursery Manager about arrangements for your child.

Please confirm availability and the applicable rate with the nursery before booking extra sessions.
Invoices & payments
Fees are payable monthly in advance. Invoices are issued on the 1st and payment is due by the 10th. We accept BACS, cash, cheque and Tax-Free Childcare payments.
The published late-payment terms state that £10 is charged when payment is more than 24 hours overdue, followed by £10 per day until payment is received in full. A child’s place may be put on hold until payment clears. Please speak to the office promptly if there is a problem with a payment.
